Centre for Migration and Intercultural Studies (CeMIS)
The Centre for Migration and Intercultural Studies (CeMIS) is responsible for the University of Antwerp's participation in EUMAGINE. CeMIS also coordinates the entire project. CeMIS was established in 2005 as a multidisciplinary unit within the University and currently has around 10 full time research staff with a range of disciplinary backgrounds. The Centre carries out basic and applied research and engages in teaching on migration, integration and intercultural relations. CeMIS also has a mission to facilitate collaboration between academia and society at large arond the same issues.
