Bastian Vollmer

Bastian Vollmer was educated at Cambridge University and at the University of Amster-dam. His main research interests are irregular and transit migration; discursive formations of policy-making; control mechanisms and securitization regimes of migration. In the past he conducted research on EU countries focussing on Germany and the United King-dom. His focus increasingly shifts to regions and countries at the fringes of the EU.

Within Eumagine Bastian Vollmer is a member of the Communications Team, the Geographical Duo Team for Ukraine and member of the General Assembly.
